New version released 4 December 2007
It's been quite a long wait, but the latest version has arrived.  As well as fixing quite a few bugs, there are some great new features:
~ Script creation options
~ Compare databases
~ Improved table browsing features

Web site issues 28 November 2007
The SQL Editor web site was being hosted by a less-than-perfect host.  It took me a while to notice that the feedback form wasn't working.  Then I realised that on-line evaluation licences weren't being issued.  I'm very sorry about the problems.  I've switched hosts, and everything should now be working again.  If it isn't, please get in touch.

  Stay up-to-date
SQL Editor is constantly being refined, and all customers are encouraged to upgrade to the most recent version.  After all, it's free!  Just visit the downloads page.

  Recent product developments
As promised, I've been working on a version which is compatible with SQL 2005.  This is now available.  I have also added object- and column-permissions management dialogs, and made some improvements to the sequence in which objects are scripted.  Get your copy from the downloads page.

Version 6.0.0.107 has been superseded by version 6.0.0.108.  This revision fixes a couple of bugs in the new dialogs.

I plan to make some further changes to object scripting sequences next.

Please do let me know if you would like to see any other improvements.
